“What is crooked cannot make correction and what is lacking cannot be counted.”
The offerings and sacrifices that we study in the portion of Tzav come to purify us and support our correction process.
The Zohar reveals that the precepts cleanse the level of Malchut from the Klipot and impurities.
The verse above teaches us that whatever we do incomplete or wrong can not be used for our correction. Also actions that we missed on doing can not be counted and support our correction.
